We just found out that company member Polly Lee is the recipient of one of four Charles Bowden Acting Awards given by New Dramatists, and will be honored at their 59th Anniversary Spring Luncheon on May 15th.

We thought it’d be fun to let you know about what some of the RPRers are doing around the country and around the world this Spring, and we’re all hoping to be home in the city this summer getting to work on a couple new projects.

Artistic Director Daniel Talbott is at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival working on a new play called Rocket City written by Mark Saltzman and directed by David Ellenstein.

Artistic Associate Denis Butkus is appearing opposite Ken Tigar at The English Theatre in Vienna in a co-production with the Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara of Old Wicked Songs.

Artistic Associate Brian Roff is the Assistant Director on The Little Flower of East Orange, a new play by LAByrinth Theater Company, written by Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Company member Sarah Grace Wilson is at Portland Center Stage working on Sometimes a Great Notion adapted and directed by Aaron Posner, from the novel by Ken Kesey.

Company members Danny Goldstein and Sean Dugan are in Boston at the Huntington Theatre Company working on The Cry of the Reed, a new play by Sinan Unel.

Company member Max Casella will be starring in Endgame at BAM with Alvin Epstein, Elaine Stritch, and John Turturro in a production directed by Andrei Belgrader.

Company member Trip Cullman directed Adam Bock’s play Drunken City, currently running at Playwrights Horizons.

Artistic Associate Samantha Soule will be coming back from hanging out with Denis in Vienna and Italy and going straight up to the Berkshire Theatre Festival this summer to work on their production of Candida directed by Anders Cato.
