Playwright David Van Asselt will be joined by Andrew Ross (social activist and a Professor of Social and Cultural Analysis at NYU) and Raúl Carrillo (a co-organizer for The Modern Money Network (MMN), an international, transdisciplinary educational initiative for understanding money, finance, law, and the economy). PARTICIPANTS:

Raúl Carrillo is a student at Columbia Law and an organizer for The Modern Money Network (MMN), an international, transdisciplinary educational initiative for understanding money, finance, law, and the economy. Prior to law school, he worked on the executive staff of California Attorney General Kamala D. Harris, assisting with the 2012 multi-state mortgage fraud settlement. He occasionally writes editorials on economic policy.

Andrew Ross is a social activist and a Professor of Social and Cultural Analysis at NYU. He is the author of many books, most recently, Creditocracy and the Case for Debt Refusal (OR Books).

David Van Asselt is the Artistic Director and a co-founder of Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. Because he is also a playwright (Dog Daze, Incident at Irving’s Pet Place (a radio play), A Trip to the Beach, Winning), he started the company with six other playwrights as a kind of playwrights cooperative, which then evolved into the present day company. He has degrees in film and philosophy from NYU.

Jule Kline (moderator) is an actor, director, producer, artistic associate of Rising Phoenix Rep, and a literary manager of Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.
